Take My Muffin, the first crypto-animation show, went live on April 19, 2022 — Bluelight, the series based crypto game, to follow shortly

An amazing event took place on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Limassol, Cyprus, at the former Coca Cola Factory. Toonbox studios held the offline presentation of the Take My Muffin (TMM) show, the first crypto-series created with the support of the crypto community and through the sale of NFT tokens.

The event program included firing liquid bronze muffins in front of an amazed audience, sale of NFT muffins, tea and delicious muffins for event attendees, giveaway of POAP event tokens for all guests, standup-presentation about crypto from the authors of the show Pavel Muntian and Vladimir Ponomarev, Toonbox CEO and Art Director, respectively.

The main course of the evening was, obviously, the screening of the first episode of Take My Muffin, the show about the unicorn, the three-eyed cat, and the universe of startups.

Most importantly, media and attendees were able to get plenty of behind-the-scenes details on the development of Bluelight, a crypto-game based on the series from Andrew Moroz, CEO of Viewpoint Labs and the main brain of the game.

About Take My Muffin

Take My Muffin is an animated series for adults developed by the Toonbox studios and aimed to be broadcasted on YouTube for free (TMM channel). The production plan includes three seasons of ten episodes each. Tentative release schedule presumes one episode going live every week or two.

The series chronicles the misadventures of amnesic Unicorn Korney — who discovers he has the superpower to generate billion-dollar startup ideas. To get his memory back, Korney must strike a deal with three-eyed business-cat Rok — who surely has his ulterior motives, about which poor Korney is clueless.

The story is set in an “acid-trip version of Palo Alto”, where robots live next door to dragons and walking potatoes, while investors pump their money into developing revolutionary products such as psychedelic boogers.

The series is funded via crowdfunding-alike mechanisms based on crypto technologies. In September, 2021, Take My Muffin partnered with the 1inch Network to use the latter’s solutions for minting and circulating the project’s token, TMM, and a range of NFT-collectibles issued to fund the production. Some of those fun NFTs are currently still available on respected platforms, including Rarible.

Take My Muffin was financed by the crypto-community from the very beginning and was the very first crypto-funded animated series. The plot of Take My Muffin entwines a variety of modern tech elements, including decentralized finance (DeFi) and other blockchain-based solutions.

About Bluelight

Bluelight is an economic strategy game about building your own startups in a multiverse. The game implements play to earn mechanics to incentivize active players as they progress. The goal of the game is to build the most powerful startup, represented as a unicorn.

Players can enjoy various activities while growing their startups, like completing projects, building their own offices, training employees, while competing with other players for rankings and participating in PvP battles.

Being a web3 game, Bluelight benefits from modern technologies like NFTs and item ownership. Players directly own all the items they have in the game and can use them across various multiverse experiences that will come in future.

Bluelight and its characters are based on the animation series Take My Muffin. It is not necessary to be familiar with Take My Muffin lore to enjoy the game, but Bluelight and the series include a lot of cross references and come great together.

The game is currently under active development and early betas are expected quite soon! As the game happens in a virtual city, to prepare it for gamers we will host a land sale for every one, so they can grab a land parcel earlier and will have some time to build their property before the full scale launch.

So, to wrap it up, we believe that’s something worth looking into given the current uptick in the DeGaming segment. Should you feel interested in writing up the story (and need more details or a quote from Anrew Moroz), please do not hesitate to ask me.
