Limited supply of EtherMail ENS domains to become available to Web3 users

Schaan, Liechtenstein, 13 February 2023 – EtherMail, the first Web 3.0 Email Solution setting the standard for anonymous and encrypted wallet-to-wallet communication, will be opening the doors for Web3 users to claim highly coveted domain names, as part of its ENS integration.

This will represent the latest step in EtherMail’s mission to reimagine email for the Web3 space, and users are encouraged to claim the custom address they want due to limited availability. In recent months, there has been a pronounced spike in the number of ENS domain name registrations, more than doubling to 2.6 million since May of 2022. It has been reported that the most expensive ENS domain to date has been paradigm.eth, which sold for 420 ETH in October 2021.

Up until now, valid EtherMail addresses have taken the form of 0x….@ethermail.io, in which a user’s wallet address serves as the prefix for the EtherMail domain. Moving forward, a valid EtherMail address can be personalised, taking the form user.eth@ethermail.io. Users don’t need to know their complete wallet address off by heart, they can simply use their ENS username. As part of the integration, EtherMail will airdrop 10 million EMC tokens in a raffle to EtherMail users with an active ENS account.

EtherMail is the only tool in the Web3 space allowing Web3 companies to send rich, relevant content directly to their asset holders based on up to the minute information. Included in EtherMail’s future pipeline will be the introduction of its native utility token, $EMT, an ERC-20 token based on the Ethereum network. EMT will be a first-of-its-kind incentivization mechanism designed to reward email users for their time and attention reading unsolicited emails, creating a much-needed framework for email economics. Users can register their interest in the upcoming token launch by filling out this form.

Shant Kevonian, CEO and Founder of EtherMail said: “We’ve seen the headlines regarding ENS domains fetching jaw-dropping prices, with some domain names selling on secondary markets for millions of dollars. Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin has previously underlined how three and four-letter ENS names represent valuable fixed-supply assets. We encourage users to secure their custom digital identity for Web3 now.”
