Dogs Ruled Meme Coins For Years. Is Pepe Next?

New meme currencies like Pepe Coin (PEPE) on Ethereum are changing individual retail investors’ lives by the dozens, with life-changing potential in the earnings possible to cryptocurrency investors practicing stay-at-home capitalism and providing liquidity for new decentralized finance (DeFi) projects on smart contract blockchains.

But not everyone will avail themselves of the opportunities made possible by the Internet that their parents and grandparents could only have dreamed of and let slip from their minds in their incomprehensibility. Those opportunities are still too incomprehensible to the potential millionaires who are going to pass them up because they just “don’t make sense.”

Dog Money “Doesn’t Make Sense”

It just “doesn’t make sense,” isn’t believable or respectable that something called dog money is real, turning greater profits than pretty much every Fortune 500 company on Wall Street, and making pimple-faced teenagers who didn’t really deserve it and don’t know any better into proud new Lambo owners. So some people, actually unfortunately very many people will pass on it.

Literally millions and millions of Baby Boomers will retire later than they hoped on less than they planned, forced to live on a fixed income that was less than what they were used to earning during their peak income working years. All because they can’t get over the fact that there’s no one in charge with a CEO placard on their office window– and the cartoon memes are too good.

But yeah, it’s true. Believable or not, it’s just what is happening now– Generation Z and Millennials are sitting at home with their feet up on the couch, sucking on a vaporizer pen, and plowing more dog meme earnings into frog memes because they’re coming in dank this year.

Pepe Meme Coin Alternatives

What is it with the frog-themed Pepe meme? Pepe, in case you didn’t know, is the Internet frog cartoon meme worth all the liquidity in the pond. This rare bad boy is one of the Internet’s most treasured and beloved memes, and more magical than a Log Cabin Republican Convention. Investors are putting their money on Pepe because they love freedom and they love America.

Pepe Coin traded at $0.000081 per 1 PEPE token against the U.S. dollar on Saturday, Jun. 15. with a 24-hour trading volume of $629.5 million. For comparison, Dogecoin traded with a 24-hour trading volume of $477 million, so Pepe is a coin with similar gravity to Dogecoin, even though it ranks several places behind DOGE on the CoinMarketCap leaderboard.

According to popular YouTube crypto analyst Matthew Perry, Pepe Coin price has an enormous amount of upside left. Perry projects the currency could be worth as much as a total $42 billion market cap or higher in the future after the next altcoin season reaches new all-time highs.

Only problem is with a current market cap of $4.9 billion, $42 billion doesn’t even leave enough room for a 10x or 1,000% of an investors’ principal. While an almost 10x in under a year is amazing performance in the grand scheme of investment history, it’s nothing like the results investors used to be able to get with Pepe back when it was still new…
