Web3 Infrastructure Firm Validation Cloud Successfully Completes $5.8 Million Funding Round

Swiss-based Web 3 data streaming and infrastructure company Validation Cloud raises $5.8 million in an external funding round led by Cadenza Ventures.

Validation Cloud, a Web 3 infrastructure company offering users and institutions a staking-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, announced the successful completion of an external funding round totalling $5.8 million. The funding round was led by San Fransisco-based VC firm, Cadenza Ventures and welcomed participation from other Web 3 VC firms including  Blockchain Founders Fund, Bloccelerate, Blockwall, Side Door Ventures, Metamatic, GS Futures, and AP Capital.

The capital raise will be used to advance development across the platform and enhance the adoption of Validation Cloud’s platform, the company’s co-founder, Alex Nwaka confirmed.

“Validation Cloud recognized the critical need for scalable and compliant infrastructure to onboard the influx of enterprises embracing Web3”, said Nwaka. “We are privileged to partner with our global investors who are accelerating the adoption of Validation Cloud’s platform by visionary networks, builders, and asset managers around the world.”

The platform enables non-custodial staking-as-a-service, on-demand for institutions. Via its proprietary system architecture, users have access to a fast, scalable and intelligent global platform that delivers Staking, Node API, and Data to users.  In addition, Validation Cloud is setting new standards for the Web 3 industry, providing users with reliable Ethereum validators through UI and API-based deployments, automatic rewards management, and SOC2 compliance.

Speaking on the latest funding round, Cadenza’s managing partner, Kumar Dandapani, praised Validation Cloud’s “transformative technologies” as the reason for leading the capital raise.

“Validation Cloud’s pioneering role in Proof-of-Stake and their relentless pursuit of next-generation Web3 infrastructure have set them apart as leaders in the Web3 space,” said Kumar Dandapani, Managing Partner at Cadenza. “Cadenza is proud to lead this round and support Validation Cloud’s mission to bridge the gap between traditional enterprises and the expansive power of Web3.”

With a strong and experienced team in Web 3 technologies leading the firm, Kumar believes the future is brighter for Validation Cloud. Over the years, the company has also partnered closely with networks at their earliest stages of development and supported their ecosystems of users with best-in-class infrastructure.

Having partnered with seasoned blockchains such as Chainlink and Hedera Hashgraph, as well as smaller blockchains such as Aptos, Eigenlayer, and Berachain, Validation Cloud’s platform provides the necessary foundations for enterprise adoption of networks.
