io.net and Injective have partnered to integrate Injective’s iAgent AI framework with io.net’s decentralized GPU compute network.
In an exciting move, io.net, a top decentralized distributed compute network, together with Injective, an efficient Layer 1 blockchain tailored for financial applications have announced that they will be entering into a partnership in a bid to integrate Injective’s iAgent AI agent framework with io.net’s decentralized GPU compute network.
The iAgent SDK was launched on November 19 and it marks Injective’s inaugural AI agent-based kit. What it does is, it enables a smooth integration of AI functionalities with blockchain operations while at the same time leveraging large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI. As such, with the help of iAgent, users will be in a position to conduct activities such as initiate payments, perform on-chain trades and also execute various blockchain tasks using commands that are AI-driven.
On the partnership, Ausif Ahmed, Chief Business Development Officer of io.net, said,
“This collaboration reflects our shared goal of creating practical solutions for developers and engineers. By combining io.net’s decentralized compute infrastructure with Injective’s AI agent frameworks and tools, we aim to address key challenges in the AI and blockchain space by lowering barriers to entry for builders everywhere.”
Now, through this partnership, the confluence of decentralized computing and artificial intelligence will be revolutionized by utilizing the robust distributed infrastructure that io.net has. With over 10,000 GPUs and CPUs that are cluster-ready, the infrastructure can facilitate AI practitioners in training, fine-tuning, and deploying machine learning models on a decentralized platform.
This partnership will focus on optimizing Injective’s iAgent framework with io.net’s GPU network to enhance overall computational efficiency. It will also look into the potential applications of io.net’s GPU pricing and data feeds for future on-chain financial products that may be on Injective’s vision board.
Adding to Ahmed’s comments, Eric Chen, CEO & Co-Founder of Injective Labs shared his enthusiasm about the partnership stating:
“AI using blockchain rails has exploded in recent months and we’re thrilled to see increasing adoption of iAgent bringing AI on-chain. Now having io.net’s support with their decentralized compute platform to serve on-chain AI developer’s needs, can further expand the use cases and innovation in the burgeoning DeFAI sector.”
