Decentralized AI Platform Phoenix enters into AI and cloud partnership with China internet giant JD.COM

Decentralized AI computing platform Phoenix and its key strategic technology partner APEX Technologies has entered into a partnership with Chinese internet and tech giant JD.com and its technology arm JDT (JD Technology). JD.com is commonly known as the Amazon of China and is China’s largest internet company by revenue – its businesses range from e-commerce, cloud computing, technology, and logistics. APEX Technologies is a leading China-based enterprise predictive AI company backed by Tencent and Anker Innovations, and is one of the key organizations behind Phoenix’s tech development.

Phoenix will leverage JDT’s and JD Cloud’s global GPU-enabled computing nodes via Phoenix’s decentralized AI compute network SkyNet, as well as integrate JDT’s proprietary AI technologies such as AIGC and LLM (Large Language Model) capabilities as solutions to use with Phoenix’s SkyNet. Additionally, APEX Technologies, Phoenix, and JDT will provide joint solutions for large enterprises in use cases such as AI-enabled CRM, IoT, and predictive analytics.

According to key members of Phoenix’s team, the platform is in the process of developing multiple major partnerships with technology firms that have large computing and GPU resources, including large cloud computing firms, AI companies, and crypto mining firms. According to Phoenix’s AI Computation Layer development plan, the first phase is to develop strategic partnerships with enterprises for both compute node resources as well as deployment of AI applications on SkyNet, and then the next phase is to have “retail” join into the compute network with GPU-enabled devices.

Other organizations that are a part of Phoenix’s technology development also include Hong Kong based decentralized AI research firm FLC (Federated Learning Consortium) and Shanghai-based AI-driven proprietary trading firm Tensor Investment.
