The strategic partnership aims to empower users to fully embrace the potential and unique advantages of web3 technology.
Web 3 crypto and NFT SuperApp Kresus announced a strategic collaboration with Collectibles.com, a premium collectibles marketplace, to become its official wallet partner. The partnership aims to drive innovation across the global Web 3 collectibles space, helping Collectibles.com achieve its vision and mission of mass blockchain tech adoption.
Speaking on why Kresus became its leading wallet partner, Collectibles.com Co-Founder and Chief Business & Strategy Officer Dietrich von Behren, stated that the SuperApp offers the best-in-class security for its users and a well-designed platform to enhance its in-app user experience.
“We have chosen Kresus as our debut wallet partner because of their unwavering commitment to user security and delivering a frictionless web3 experience,” he stated.
Collectibles.com is set to launch its global marketplace in October, with thousands of NFT enthusiasts and collectors already signed up on its whitelist and claimed their custom usernames. The platform raised $5 million in July in a seed round led by Blockchange Ventures to create the world’s first Web 3 community and marketplace aimed at driving innovation in the $500 billion global collectibles market.
As per the official team statement, new users signing up on the Collectibles.com platform will be offered the opportunity to create a Kresus Wallet during registration, while existing Kresus wallet owners will be able to connect their wallets directly to their Collectibles.com account.
“As their preferred wallet provider, we are truly excited to be part of Collectibles.com’s journey,” Kresus CEO and Founder, Trevor Traina said on the partnership. “The platform is a godsend for passionate collectors the world over, and our secure and user-friendly Kresus wallet will play a key role in introducing collectors to the world of Web 3.”
The launch of Collectibles.com next month will bring forth novel utilities in the collectibles market, creating a vibrant and engaging environment for all users, including collectors of sports cards, comics, signed memorabilia or anything else. The platform will enable users to showcase their collectibles to the community or organize their assets. The latest partnership with Kresus will add a layer of security and frictionless interaction and experience for users on the platform, as Dietrich von Behren, co-founder of Collectibles.com explained.
“We have chosen Kresus as our debut wallet partner because of their unwavering commitment to user security and delivering a frictionless web3 experience,” said Dietrich von Behren, who also doubles up as the Chief Business and Strategy Officer at the company. “Kresus aligns perfectly with our goals, and we are confident the partnership will greatly enhance the user experience on our platform.”
With Collectibles.com building new industry standards in the global collectibles industry, where users can buy, sell and connect with other collectors, Kresus provides a wallet that “users can trust that their assets and transactions will be handled with the utmost security and convenience”, the statement further reads.
The latest partnership follows Kresus’ recent launch of a Polygon-curated marketplace that aims to provide a bridge between the standard Web3 experience and traditional Web2 marketplaces. The bridge network will allow Kresus’ users to sift through the millions of collectibles available across the various platforms on the Polygon blockchain.
